'Industrial Wales' and 'The Brickworks of Wales'

These websites are run by our webmaster, Phil Jenkins, who has recorded and photographed all sorts of industrial leftovers from around Wales (and around the whole, wide world !!). Old ironmongery, odd walls, strange foundations and holes in the ground are all fair game for exploration.

Potted histories, maps and very many photos of the surviving industrial archaeology of Wales. It covers collieries, railways, ironworks, tramroads, quarries, mills and limekilns

A geographical encyclopaedia of the brickworks of Wales with brief histories, maps and examples of their outputs. I'm also building an index to the brick imprints, works and companies of Wales
